Measurements on two crematoriums in
Norway showed an extremely high emission of mercury of 0.26 milligrams and 0.56 milligrams
pr SCM, respectively. Those crematoriums have no scrubber for mercury removal.
Another surprising thing was that the
dust coming out of the chimney contain 0.3 and 0.5 percent mercury.
Due to this, Miltec Ltd. is now
measuring mercury emissions from any chimney, all according to the EU standards.
